- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (or milk)
- 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles until just al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions, celery, and carrots. Sauté for 5–7 minutes until tender.
- Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir to combine.
- Simmer the sauce for 3–5 minutes to blend flavors.
- Add frozen peas and cook for another 2–3 minutes.
- Fold in cooked noodles and gently toss until evenly coated in sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm with optional garnish like chopped parsley or cracked pepper.
