Description
Cream Cheese Bacon Green Bean Casserole is an easy side dish recipe perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas. This creamy green bean casserole is loaded with real bacon bits and topped with Ritz Crackers and French’s Fried Onions.

- 15 Ritz crackers
- 1 cup French’s fried onions
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tbsp real bacon bits
- 3 cups milk
- 2 oz Lipton Onion Soup & Dip Mix
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 5 cups chopped frozen green beans
- 1/2 cup real bacon bits
- 1 cup French’s fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Pour milk into large saucepan.
- Add onion soup mix to milk and stir well. Bring to a boil.
- Add cream cheese and reduce heat to medium. Stir until melted.
- Add frozen green beans and stir until coated.
- Add 1/2 cup bacon bits and 1 cup fried onions. Stir well and reduce heat to low.
- Crush Ritz crackers in a Ziploc bag.
- In a bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, 1 cup fried onions, and melted butter.
- Mix well and set aside.
- Dump green bean mixture into a greased 9-inch baking dish.
- Spread topping mixture over green beans and sprinkle bacon bits on top.
- Bake until topping is just starting to brown, about 14-16 minutes.
- Allow to sit for a few minutes before serving.
