- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Pat the chicken thighs dry using paper towels to help the skin crisp up in the oven. Place them on a lined baking sheet or in a roasting pan.
- Drizzle the thighs with olive oil and rub it in evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and dried thyme.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the chicken thighs and press gently to adhere.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 425°F (220°C) for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the skin is crisp and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving to retain the juices.
