- 6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for filling)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
- 1/3 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, toss sliced apples with 2 tablespoons flour, granulated sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Spread into the baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix 3/4 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Stir in melted butter until crumbly.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over the apples.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
- Cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
