Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon neutral oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup hot honey
  • 2 cups cooked white rice or cauliflower rice
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 3 stalks green onions, sliced
  • Optional: red pepper flakes or Sriracha

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice or cauliflower rice according to package directions and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned.
  4. Drain excess fat and stir in the sauce mixture. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
  5. Assemble your bowl by adding rice, then topping with the beef mixture.
  6. Drizzle hot honey generously over the beef.
  7. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and optional chili flakes or Sriracha.
