- 1 lb ground beef (85% lean)
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup hot honey
- 2 cups cooked white rice or cauliflower rice
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 3 stalks green onions, sliced
- Optional: red pepper flakes or Sriracha
Instructions
- Cook the rice or cauliflower rice according to package directions and set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, and cook until browned.
- Drain excess fat and stir in the sauce mixture. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes until thickened.
- Assemble your bowl by adding rice, then topping with the beef mixture.
- Drizzle hot honey generously over the beef.
- Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and optional chili flakes or Sriracha.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
