Description

A high protein twist on classic pizza rolls, packed with flavorful beef pepperoni and cheese.


Ingredients

Scale
  • Spray oil
  • 2.2 lb lean ground beef (5% fat)
  • 5.2 oz beef pepperoni, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 14 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 0.5 oz flat-leaf parsley, chopped
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 6 wraps, any type
  • 7.05 oz low-fat mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • Sauce of your choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, spray oil and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped pepperoni, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, oregano, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, salt, and pepper. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Spoon filling onto each wrap, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, and roll tightly.
  5. Place rolls seam-side down on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
