  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (opt for quality vanilla)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (or half whole wheat flour for a healthier option)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda (for leavening)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (to enhance flavor)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional, adds warmth)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips (optional, for texture)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mash 3-4 very ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
  3. Add melted unsalted butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to the mashed bananas and mix until smooth.
