- 1 wheel Brie Cheese (Keep it cold for easier handling)
- 12 sticks Pretzel Sticks (Use gluten-free for a gluten-free version)
- 1 cup Chopped Nuts (Use walnuts or pecans; substitute with seeds for nut-free)
- 1 cup Dried Fruit (Use cranberries or apricots, chopped finely)
- 2 tbsp Honey or Hot Honey (Maple syrup is a vegan alternative)
- 2 tbsp Fresh Herbs (Use thyme or rosemary for garnish)
Instructions
- Chill the Brie by placing it in the freezer for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Finely chop nuts and dried fruits, combine in a bowl with a pinch of salt and optional herbs.
- Shape the chilled brie into cone shapes resembling trees.
- Insert pretzel sticks into the bottom of each brie cone to serve as the trunk.
- Roll each brie tree in the nut and fruit mixture, pressing lightly to adhere.
- Refrigerate the shaped trees for about 10 minutes to set.
- Drizzle with honey or hot honey right before serving, and garnish with fresh herbs.
