Description

Monkey bread is a sweet, sticky pastry made from pieces of dough rolled in cinnamon sugar and baked together.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans of refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the biscuit dough into quarters.
  3. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Dip each piece of dough in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  5. Layer the dough pieces in a greased bundt pan.
  6. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar together.
  7. Pour the butter mixture over the layered dough.
  8. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
