Description
These fudgy red velvet brownies with cream cheese frosting are a soft and chewy dessert that is perfect for any occasion.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 10 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. red food coloring
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° for metal baking pan or 325F for glass baking pan, and spray an 8″x8″ square baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk and set aside.
- Add melted butter and granulated sugar to a large mixing bowl. Whisk for a solid minute.
- Add in eggs, vanilla, vinegar, and food coloring. Continue mixing for one more minute.
- Add the dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix with a spatula until just combined.
- Add the batter to prepared baking dish, spread to the edges and smooth over the top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until cooked through. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on a wire rack.
- While brownies are baking, prepare the frosting by combining the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla with a hand mixer. Mix until well-combined.
- Once brownies have cooled, frost and then cut into squares before serving. Enjoy!
