Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Carrots: Wash and peel the carrots. Cut them into 1-inch thick slices.
  3. Mix the Glaze: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, maple syrup, sea salt, ground black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, ground cumin, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth.
  4. Coat the Carrots: Add carrot slices to the glaze and toss until fully coated.
  5. Arrange Carrots on Baking Sheet: Spread the glazed carrots in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving space between slices.
  6. Roast the Carrots: Roast for 20–30 minutes, flipping halfway through. Watch closely to prevent burning.
