Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 220°C (425°F). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Carrots: Wash and peel the carrots. Cut them into 1-inch thick slices.
- Mix the Glaze: In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, maple syrup, sea salt, ground black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, ground cumin, and chili flakes. Stir until smooth.
- Coat the Carrots: Add carrot slices to the glaze and toss until fully coated.
- Arrange Carrots on Baking Sheet: Spread the glazed carrots in a single layer on the baking sheet, leaving space between slices.
- Roast the Carrots: Roast for 20–30 minutes, flipping halfway through. Watch closely to prevent burning.
- Check for Doneness: Insert a fork into a slice; it should slide in easily.
- Garnish and Serve: Transfer to a serving dish, sprinkle with parsley, and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve warm.
