Description
These Tasty Christmas Cranberry Pinwheels combine the tangy flavor of feta cheese and sweetened dried cranberries wrapped in soft flour tortillas. Perfect for holiday appetizers or festive snacks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 3/4 cup sweetened dried cranberries (softened in warm water for 5 minutes, then drained)
- 3/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened (preferably Philadelphia cream cheese)
- 2 large flour tortillas (10-inch size for easier rolling)
Instructions
- Soak the sweetened dried cranberries in warm water for about 5 minutes to soften them, then drain thoroughly.
- In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crumbled feta cheese, chopped green onions, and the softened cranberries. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Lay a flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread half of the cheese and cranberry mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Carefully roll the tortilla tightly to form a cylinder. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up and make slicing easier.
- After chilling, unwrap the rolled tortilla and slice into 1-inch pinwheels using a sharp knife. Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy immediately or keep refrigerated until serving.
Notes
- These pinwheels can be made a day in advance.
